I was contacted by the Parkoo company and asked to give an honest review of their Quick Dry Gel pens.  I have to admit I was pretty skeptical at first, considering I had never heard of this company.  However, once I received them and started using them on a daily basis, I was pleasantly surprised by what I found.  I did a comparison of them to the Pilot G2 and the Papermate Inkjoy gel pens.  I figured that both of these pens are fairly well known and most comparable to what was sent to me from Parkoo.   So, how did they compare to the name brand pens?  I found they are very similar to the Inkjoy .7 pens.  The Pilot G2 has a much heavier flow, therefore the ink was thicker and darker in comparison to the Parkoo.  I preferred the Parkoo gel pens over the G2 due to the fine point.  In comparison to the Inkjoy, they look the same to me.  The major difference between the two is the style of barrel on the pens.  The Inkjoy has a rubber co...

 It’s that time of year! As moms, we do everything we can to prepare for the start of school. This year especially is going to be different for many of us. It’s always helpful to get our resources in order to make things run smoothly. I’ve created a few freebies that just may make the beginning of the school year a bit easier for you. Each of the freebies are described below with pictures to follow. Simply right click and save or if on a tablet hold to save as a photo.        My Erin Condren Vertical Life Planner is my main planner that I use to plan my monthly and weekly events and tasks.  I find that using my planner is the one thing that helps me remember all the things.  I use it for jotting down checklists, tasks, and events.  Why do I prefer to use my paper planner over my iPhone Calendar?  I find that physically writing down my events and tasks does a magical thing for me in my head.  I actually find I commit these things to memory when I write them down.  When I program things in my calendar on my phone, the same does not occur.  Not only do I retain information better when writing it down, but I can decorate my planner spreads.  Decorating my planner actually motivates me to open my planner and use it!  I know, what a thought, right!?!?  What about you?  Do you prefer to use a paper planner or your digital calendar?  I enjoy sharing my weekly spreads that I create...

            Hi everyone! I'm glad you're here. I just want to briefly tell you who I am and why I have started this blog.  My name is Joey and I'm a wife, mom and teacher.  I've been married to my wonderful husband, Philip for 23 years.  We have five beautiful children ranging in age from 21 to 3.  Our days are definitely busy with such a full house!  I work full time as an Intervention Specialist in a local elementary school.       My goal for this blog is to  share with you my love of planning, organizing, and teaching tips.  Planning is not only something I do to keep my schedule organized, but I enjoy decorating the weekly and monthly spreads with stickers.  I do have a Youtube channel that shares my monthly and weekly planner spreads, as well as memory planner spreads.  You can find my channel in the link shared below.
